Bambu Lab PLA Wood Rosewood is a special PLA filament enriched with fine wood powder, which creates a realistic wood look and feel. The Rosewood shade resembles dark rosewood with a subtle grain, making it great for design objects, art models, decorations, and architectural models.
The filament is based on high-quality PLA from Bambu Lab, so it prints reliably like regular PLA, but thanks to the wood component, it offers a unique matte, warm surface. The fine particle fraction and precise diameter control ensure stable extrusion and good compatibility even with standard FDM printers.

Printing Recommendations
- Filament diameter: 1,75 mm
- Recommended nozzle temperature: approx. 190–240 °C (usually a range of 200–220 °C works, start at 210 °C)
- Bed temperature: approx. 35–45 °C (can also be printed on a lukewarm or off bed, depending on the printer)
- Recommended printing speed: up to 250 mm/s, for the highest quality of details rather 40–60 mm/s
- Fan: on (similar to classic PLA)
- Bed: textured or smooth PEI plate, it is recommended to use glue (stick/spray glue) for more secure adhesion
- Dry storage: store the filament in a closed container with silica gel so that the wood component does not absorb moisture.
For wood filaments in general, a moderate printing speed and reasonable retractions are recommended to minimize the risk of clogging. However, Bambu Lab uses fine particles and the filament is well optimized even for a standard 0,4 mm nozzle.

Compatibility

For longer nozzle life, a high-quality brass or hardened/steel nozzle is generally recommended for wood filaments, especially at high printing volumes.
