Bambu Lab PETG Basic in Reflex Blue is a modern PETG filament developed directly by printer manufacturer Bambu Lab for reliable and trouble-free printing of functional parts. Thanks to its optimized composition, it combines strength close to PLA with significantly better toughness, impact, water, and weather resistance.

The filament is supplied on a high-quality plastic spool (model with spool), the net weight of the filament is 1 kg. The filament diameter is 1.75 mm with a narrow tolerance, which guarantees stable material flow and consistent printing results.

Printing Properties

PETG Basic from Bambu Lab is designed to print as comfortably as possible even for users accustomed to PLA:

• Compared to regular PETG, it has a lower tendency for burn marks, bubbles, and unwanted stringing.
• Thanks to well-matched viscosity, the surface of the parts is smooth and details are clearly legible.
• The filament is suitable for most open and closed FDM printers with a heated bed.

For Bambu Lab printers, simply select the “Bambu PETG Basic” profile in Bambu Studio and adjust the temperature and speeds according to the specific application if necessary. On other printers, default PETG profiles with the recommended temperatures below can be used.

Recommended Print Settings (guideline)

Specific values may vary depending on the printer, nozzle, cooling, and model geometry.

• Nozzle temperature: approx. 230–260 °C
• Bed temperature: approx. 70–80 °C
• Printing speed: medium (e.g., 40–120 mm/s depending on printer capabilities)
• Fan: low to medium power, depending on desired strength and surface appearance
• Filament drying: recommended (e.g., 60–65 °C for 4–6 hours), especially when using in AMS

• Low emissions and odor compared to technical materials like ABS/ASA.
• It is recommended to print in a well-ventilated area, especially during long-term printer operation.
