Compared to standard PLA silk, PLA Silk+ is designed to work well even at higher printing speeds and on modern FDM printers (including Bambu Lab with AMS/AMS Lite), while maintaining a smooth surface without visible layer transitions.

Recommended Use

Printing Recommendations
For best results, we recommend:
- Nozzle Temperature: approx. 210–230 °C (follow the profile in Bambu Studio or profiles for PLA Silk+)
- Bed Temperature: approx. 35–60 °C depending on the bed type and model size
- Printing Speed: up to 250 mm/s, for maximum gloss reduce outer perimeters to ~50 mm/s
- Cooling: medium to high, depending on model details
- Drying: it is recommended to dry the filament before printing, especially if it has been open for a long time
For silk filaments in general, lower speed and carefully set temperature result in a smoother and glossier surface.
