Bambu Lab PETG‑CF Violet Purple is a premium 3D printing filament based on PETG, reinforced with carbon fibers. The new formula significantly reduces typical issues of classic PETG, such as material clumping on the nozzle and excessive stringing, while adding high strength and stiffness combined with a glossy carbon surface.
The filament is supplied on an original 1kg Bambu Lab spool with an integrated RFID chip, which allows Bambu Lab printers and the AMS system to automatically recognize the material and use a verified printing profile. Just insert the spool, select the model, and print – without complex manual setup.

Printing Recommendations (guidelines)
Always start from the official profile in Bambu Studio / Bambu Lab slicer and adapt the settings to the specific printer and model.
- Nozzle temperature: 240–270 °C
- Bed temperature (with glue): 65–75 °C
- Recommended printing speed: up to approx. 200 mm/s
- Filament dryness: store in a dry place, if damp dry for 8 h at ~65 °C
- Recommended bed surface: Cool Plate with SuperTack, Smooth PEI, Textured PEI
- Nozzle: hardened / reinforced steel (0.4 / 0.6 / 0.8 mm) – carbon fibers accelerate wear on brass nozzles

Color Shade Violet Purple
The Violet Purple shade is a rich purple color with fine carbon fibers, which gives the surface:
- a fine carbon structure
- slight reflections due to the PETG gloss
- a very attractive appearance for visible design parts
Compatibility
- Printers: suitable for all common FDM/FFF printers with a hotend capable of working in the range of approx. 270 °C and using an abrasion-resistant nozzle.
