Product description

Bambu Lab PETG HF Forest Green 1kg

Bambu Lab PETG HF Forest Green is a specially developed PETG filament designed for high-speed 3D printing. Thanks to its optimized composition, it allows printing at up to double the speed compared to standard PETG, while maintaining reliable layer adhesion, high toughness, and dimensional stability.

The matte surface in a deep Forest Green shade helps mask layers and uneven speed changes, so the resulting prints look very clean and professional.

Main features

  • Optimized for high speed – designed for high-speed printing on Bambu Lab printers (X1, P1, A1, P2 etc.), but usable on other FDM printers as well.
  • Double the speed compared to regular PETG (depending on model and printer settings) while maintaining surface quality.
  • Matte surface – unified, velvety matte look that better hides layers and changes in printing speed.
  • High toughness and durability – stronger and more durable than PLA, suitable for functional and mechanically stressed parts.
  • Suitable for outdoor use – better resistance to moisture and weather than PLA, suitable for exterior parts (holders, caps, garden equipment components, etc.).
  • Minimization of typical PETG issues – the formulation limits sagging, stringing, and material buildup in the nozzle.
  • Compatible with Bambu AMS / AMS Lite – ideal for fully automated and multi-color printing in the Bambu system.
  • Available in standard diameter with high dimensional accuracy for reliable extrusion.

Recommended use

Bambu Lab PETG HF Forest Green is suitable for:

  • functional parts and prototypes
  • technical components and holders
  • electronics housings and covers
  • parts exposed to higher temperatures than PLA can withstand
  • outdoor applications (hooks, hose holders, garden mounts, etc.)
  • decorative models in matte, deep green color (figurines, interior accessories, etc.)

Printing recommendations

Specific profiles are available directly in Bambu Studio / OrcaSlicer, orientation ranges below.

  • Nozzle temperature: approximately 240–260 °C (depending on printer and speed)
  • Bed temperature: approx. 70–90 °C for good adhesion
  • Print speed: significantly higher than standard PETG – use default "PETG HF" profiles in Bambu Studio
  • Cooling: medium (too strong cooling can worsen layer adhesion)
  • Drying: PETG HF is hygroscopic – we recommend drying it before printing, especially in case of stringing issues or surface defects.

Compatibility

  • FDM/FFF 3D printers with 1.75 mm filament diameter
  • Ideal for Bambu Lab printers (X1/X1C, P1P/P1S, A1, A1 mini, P2S, P2P etc.)
  • Fully compatible with Bambu AMS and AMS Lite for automatic filament swapping and multi-material printing.

Safety and storage

  • Store in a dry place, in a sealed bag or box with silica gel.
  • Do not expose to direct sunlight and high temperatures.
  • Ensure adequate workplace ventilation during printing.

Summary
