Product description
Product Description
Tungsten Carbide Nozzle 0,4 mm for Bambu Lab H2 and P2S is a top-tier upgrade for everyone who prints abrasive filaments and doesn't want to constantly change worn-out brass or steel nozzles. Thanks to the tungsten carbide core with a hardness of HRA 90, it lasts many times longer than common hardened steel (approx. HRA 74) while maintaining high thermal conductivity and a very stable flow. (swingdesign.com)
This nozzle is designed specifically for Bambu Lab H2D, H2S, H2C (left – lifting) and P2S hotends, making its installation a matter of minutes – it is a drop‑in replacement for the standard nozzle. The 0,4 mm version provides the ideal balance between surface quality, detail resolution, and printing speed, making it a great choice for both prototyping and serial production.
Note: This is a standalone nozzle; the hotend is not included in the package. (swingdesign.com)
Key Features
- Material: tungsten carbide – extreme resistance to abrasion
- Hardness HRA 90 – significantly harder than hardened steel (HRA 74), with up to ~50% longer life when printing abrasive filaments (swingdesign.com)
- Nozzle diameter 0,4 mm – universal size for daily use, sharp details, and clean surfaces
- Compatibility with H2 & P2S – intended for Bambu Lab H2D, H2S, H2C (left hotend) and P2S (swingdesign.com)
- Perfect for abrasive filaments – PLA‑CF, PETG‑CF, PA‑CF, glass fibers, metal, glow‑in‑the‑dark and other composites (swingdesign.com)
- Stable diameter over time – no gradual "wearing out" of the orifice, which guarantees consistent flow and dimensional accuracy of parts (wurthadditive.com)
- High thermal stability – printing temperatures up to 350 °C, suitable even for technical materials (PA, PPA, PC, ASA, ABS) (swingdesign.com)
- Low maintenance – fewer replacements, fewer calibrations, more stable results
Practical Applications
This tungsten carbide nozzle is ideal for:
- Functional and mechanical parts made from carbon-filled and technical filaments
- Manufacturing jigs, workshop fixtures, brackets, covers and structural components
- Serial printing of repetitive parts where long-term dimensional stability is required
- Printing decorative and design objects with special effects (metallic look, marble, glow, sparkle)
The 0,4 mm size remains the most universal choice – it handles fine details as well as reasonably fast printing without the need for significant readjustment of working profiles.
Compatibility
This nozzle is designed for Bambu Lab H2 and P2S hotend assemblies and is specifically compatible with:
- Bambu Lab H2D – left and right hotend (swingdesign.com)
- Bambu Lab H2S
- Bambu Lab H2C – only left (Lifting) hotend (swingdesign.com)
- Bambu Lab P2S (swingdesign.com)
For dual‑nozzle H2 configurations, the current firmware only supports two nozzles of the same diameter. (swingdesign.com)
Recommended Materials
Abrasive and composite filaments:
- PLA‑CF, PETG‑CF, PA‑CF and other carbon-filled materials
- Glass fiber (GF) filaments
- Metal-filled PLA / PETG
- Glow‑in‑the‑dark and glitter/sparkle blends (swingdesign.com)
Standard filaments:
- PLA / PLA+ (including silk, marble, galaxy etc.)
- PETG and PETG‑HF
- ASA / ABS
- TPU and other flexible materials
A nozzle like this is also suitable for routine printing of standard materials – thanks to its durability, it almost never wears out, so there is no need to switch between a "regular" and an "abrasive" nozzle.

Installation and Usage
- Let the print head cool down completely to prevent burns. (swingdesign.com)
- Follow the Bambu Lab instructions for nozzle replacement in the H2/P2S system.
- After replacement, check in the slicer:
- nozzle diameter (0,4 mm),
- optionally adjust speeds for abrasive and technical materials.
- For high flow rates or very abrasive materials, we recommend flow calibration and retraction on a test model.
A correctly installed tungsten carbide nozzle allows you to print faster, more often, and with a significantly lower frequency of replacements, saving both time and maintenance costs.
Key Features:
- Extremely durable tungsten carbide nozzle with HRA 90 hardness for maximum lifespan.
- Optimized for Bambu Lab H2 and P2S hotends – fully compatible with H2D, H2S, H2C (left) and P2S.
- Universal 0,4 mm diameter – great balance between speed, quality, and detail.
- Ideal for abrasive filaments such as PLA‑CF, PETG‑CF, PA‑CF, metal, and glow‑in‑the‑dark materials.
- Maintains precise nozzle diameter, ensuring stable flow and dimensional accuracy of parts after thousands of hours of printing.
- Support for high temperatures up to 350 °C – suitable even for technical and engineering materials.
- Low maintenance needs and fewer replacements compared to brass and steel nozzles.
- Easy replacement as a drop‑in substitute for the original Bambu Lab H2/P2S nozzle.
