Bambu Lab Smooth PEI Plate for A1 Mini is a flexible steel plate with a smooth PEI film that ensures excellent adhesion of the first layer and creates a beautifully matte-smooth bottom surface of the print. Maintenance and Tips
- Clean regularly with mild detergent and water, or IPA; degreasing significantly improves adhesion.
- Do not use acetone – it can damage the PEI surface.
- Let the plate cool down for a few minutes after printing before removing the print; this protects the surface.
- If bubbles appear on the bottom side of the film, heat the bed to ≥80 °C for several hours – they often disappear.
- Light sanding with ~600 grit can restore adhesion to a worn surface.
