Recommended Temperatures and Adhesive Use

• PETG / PETG-CF: 60–80 °C, adhesive recommended (stick or liquid)
• ABS, ASA: 90–100 °C, adhesive necessary
• TPU: 35–45 °C, adhesive recommended
• PVA: 45–60 °C, with adhesive
• PC, PC-CF, PA, PA-CF, PAHT-CF, PET-CF: 80–110 °C, always with adhesive

When printing filaments other than PLA, always use an adhesive to prevent damage/tearing of the PEI film.

Maintenance and Care of the Plate

• Cleaning:
  • for routine maintenance, use mild detergent and warm water, then dry with a soft cloth,
  • alternatively, you can use isopropyl alcohol (IPA) for degreasing.
• Do not use acetone – acetone will permanently damage the smooth PEI surface.
• Removing prints:
  • always let the plate cool down for several minutes,
  • only then remove the model, ideally by slightly bending the plate.
• Restoring adhesion:
  • if adhesion drops, the surface can be lightly sanded with fine sandpaper (approx. 600 grit) and degreased well again.

The smooth PEI plate is considered a consumable part – it wears out over time. The warranty only covers manufacturing defects, not cosmetic damage (scratches, grooves, abrasions).
