Bambu Lab AMS Hub

AMS Hub is used to increase the number of AMS units connected to Bambu X1/P1 series printers from one AMS unit (4 channels) to a maximum of 4 AMS units (16 channels) in order to speed up filament reloading across multiple AMS units and support buffered signal redundancy. *Bambu Lab AMS Hub includes all necessary accessories to connect 2x AMS units to the printer. If you want to add more AMS units, you must order an additional bus cable and PTFE tube. To use 4x AMS units, you need to order an additional 2x bus cable (6-pin) and 2x 2m PTFE tube. *The image is for illustration purposes only; during printing, place the AMS on the left side of the AMS Hub, otherwise filament clogging may occur in the PTFE tube. Expand your AMS possibilities The printer's built-in buffer allows connection to only one AMS unit. After replacing it with the AMS Hub, the printer will be able to connect up to 4 AMS units. Installation Install the AMS Hub on the back of the printer instead of the filament buffer if you have one, and use the matching 4-pin Bambu cable to connect to the printer, use the 6-pin Bambu cable to connect to the first AMS unit, and then continue using the 6-pin cable to connect the remaining AMS units in series. Use the appropriate PTFE tube to connect the AMS Hub and the air tube connector on the back of the printer; the tube should pass between the 4-pin plug and the spool holder to reduce resistance. Depending on the placement of the AMS and the printer, you can choose the appropriate length of PTFE tube to connect the AMS and AMS Hub. The tube should be as short as possible and avoid winding to reduce feeding resistance.
