Galaxy Surface Sheet

The Bambu Galaxy Surface Sheet transfers a vibrant rainbow galaxy effect onto the first layer of your print, sparkling and changing color depending on the angle. For best results, use silk or glossy filaments to take advantage of the pattern transfer.

Carbon Fiber Surface Sheet

The Bambu Carbon Fiber Sheet has a very fine texture, similar to real carbon fiber. The pattern is transferred onto the first layer of the 3D printed model, creating a 3D effect with a pronounced texture, especially when using a gray filament dyed in a carbon fiber color.

Starry Surface Sheet

The Bambu Starry Surface Sheet transfers a rainbow kaleidoscopic star effect onto the first layer of your print, sparkling and changing color depending on the angle. For best results, use silk or glossy filaments to take advantage of the pattern transfer.

Diamond Surface Sheet

The Bambu Diamond Surface Sheet imprints a diamond pattern onto the first layer with a combination of glossy and matte shapes applied to a smooth surface. For best results, use silk or glossy filaments to maximize pattern transfer.

Note

• 3D Effect Sheets are not pre-applied to the steel plate. Manual installation is required before use. You can apply a sheet to each side of the steel plate.
• For best results, we recommend applying Bambu 3D Effect Sheets only to the official steel plate from Bambu Lab.
• The Bambu Engineering Plate (the other side of the Bambu Cool Plate/High Temp Plate) can also be used to apply Bambu 3D Effect Sheets. If you plan to apply a 3D Effect Sheet to an existing plate, make sure to remove the previous sheet and thoroughly clean any adhesive residue before installing the new sheet. The surface must be dry and clean before application.
• Set the plate type to Smooth PEI/High Temp Plate and carefully follow the recommended heated bed settings when using Bambu 3D Effect Sheets.
• 3D effect patterns require a clean surface to remain visible. Grease can cause them to disappear. It is essential to keep the surface clean. We recommend cleaning with hot water and detergent and avoiding touching the surface.

Considerations

• Due to reflections, LIDAR calibration will not work properly when using 3D Effect Sheets. We recommend skipping the LIDAR calibration sequence or calibrating with a regular plate.
• 3D Effect Sheets are considered consumables. To extend the life of the transfer textures, we recommend placing printed objects on different areas of the sheet.
• Do not apply glue to the surface of the sheet.
• When using a scraper to remove prints, be careful not to damage the sheet surface.

Recommended settings

• We recommend using PLA and TPU filament for printing. Please note that additional slicer settings may need to be adjusted based on the printed model and filament requirements. In Bambu Studio, select the Smooth PEI Plate/High Temp Plate as the plate type.
• X1 series users: please disable build plate position detection in 'Settings -> Print options -> Enable plate position detection' when printing with a 3D Effect Sheet to avoid error reports.
