Bambu Lab X2D - a new generation of 3D printing with dual nozzles

Bambu Lab X2D is the direct successor to the popular X1C and brings a fundamental upgrade - a system of two nozzles in a compact body. The main nozzle ensures precision printing, while the auxiliary nozzle takes care of supports or a second material. The results are clean-peeling supports, combinations of rigid and flexible materials in one model, and faster multi-color printing with minimal waste.

Dual nozzle system

The Gear-and-Trigger nozzle swap mechanism works lightning fast and without added weight. Thanks to the lightweight print head, surface quality remains high even at full speed. You can print PLA and TPU in one model - bags, grips, and covers come out of the printer ready to go.

Actively heated chamber and 300 °C nozzle

The heated chamber with uniform temperature distribution up to 65 °C allows reliable printing with engineering filaments like ABS, ASA, and nylon. The nozzle with a temperature up to 300 °C covers most demanding materials.

Servo extruder with PMSM motor

The exclusive servo system with a permanent synchronous motor samples resistance and position at a frequency of 20 kHz and compensates for pressure fluctuations in real time. The result is smooth surfaces without visible artifacts, print after print.

Two nozzles, two colors - without AMS

Even without an AMS unit, the X2D handles two-color and dual-material printing right out of the box. The main nozzle prints the model, while the auxiliary nozzle prints support from another material or a second color. For multi-color printing with up to 25 colors, it is possible to purchase AMS 2 Pro or AMS HT.

AI monitoring and 31 sensors

The camera system with AI detection checks the build plate before printing and monitors for spaghetti, material buildup on the nozzle, and clogs in the purge chute during printing. A total of 31 sensors monitor the entire filament path, temperatures, and machine safety.

Quiet and safe for indoors

Three-stage filtration (G3 pre-filter, HEPA H12, coconut shell activated carbon) and UL 2904 certification for indoor air quality. Active motor noise cancellation keeps noise levels below 50 dB.

Expandability with AMS

X2D is fully compatible with AMS 2 Pro and AMS HT. By connecting AMS units, you gain automatic filament swapping and printing with up to 25 colors. Possibility to connect up to 12 AMS units (24 slots). AMS is not included in this package and can be purchased separately.
