Bambu Lab TPU Feed Assist Module for P1 / X1 / H2 / P2S
Original TPU Feed Assist Module from Bambu Lab is a specially developed additional feeder for easy and stable printing of flexible filaments (TPU and other soft materials). The module actively helps with feeding the filament from an external spool towards the print head, which significantly reduces friction and the risk of snagging. Traditionally, TPU printing is problematic due to the elasticity of the material and high resistance in the PTFE guides. This module pulls the filament to the printer and simultaneously "pushes" it further into the extruder. This balances the resistance in the filament path, ensures a smoother flow to the nozzle, and enables more reliable printing even with softer TPUs.Key Benefits
- Stable printing of TPU and other soft filaments The module construction is optimized for flexible materials that normally suffer from jamming and irregular extrusion.

Note: For some H2 printers, if the left head is connected to the TPU Feed Assist Module, simultaneous multi-material/multi-color printing on the left and right head at the same time is not supported. This module is primarily optimized for reliable TPU feeding.

- Module Placement The TPU Feed Assist Module is standardly mounted on the back of the printer near the TPU/external feed port (depending on the specific model).
- Connection
- Connect the module to the correct port for TPU/external feed on the printer according to the manufacturer's instructions.
- Connect the power/communication cable if included in the kit.
- Filament Routing
- Insert the TPU filament from the spool into the module input.
- Let the module feed the filament through and guide it further into the printer input (or PTFE tube if required).
- Software Settings
- In Bambu Studio or another compatible application, select external feeding and TPU filament type, or use the recommended Bambu profiles for TPU.
