Bambu Lab Nozzle Eddy Sensor FAC205 – left nozzle is an original spare part for the Bambu Lab X2D 3D printer. It is an eddy current (inductive) sensor located at the left nozzle, which monitors the nozzle status during printing.

The sensor can recognize if the nozzle is wrapped in melted filament and provides feedback to the printer for various automatic routines (e.g., calibration, print error detection). It thus helps prevent nozzle collisions with the build plate, issues with the first layer, and reduces the risk of print head damage during material buildup.

This specific model FAC205 is intended for the left nozzle (Left) in the dual toolhead of the X2D printer.
