Product description
What to know before use
- This is a plate with a special coating on one side and an Engineering Plate on the other with different properties. The properties are described below.
- Variations in color and gloss are only minor adjustments to optimize the manufacturing process and surface quality. If a residue remains on the nozzle after wiping, it will be heated and melted before printing the model. These changes do not affect leveling, Lidar, adhesion, or scope of use.
- Before auto-leveling, the nozzle must be repeatedly wiped in the plate’s dedicated wiping area to completely remove residual material on the nozzle tip. The coating in the specially designed wiping area will gradually wear out over time. This is normal and does not affect print quality or nozzle life, so there is no need to worry about quality issues.
- Bambu Lab recommends using only official Bambu Lab glue on Cool Plates and cannot be held responsible for any plate damage resulting from the use of third-party adhesives.

General
- The Bambu High Temperature Plate is a sticker applied to the Bambu Engineering Plate, which can be used on both sides. This is a consumable print surface used together with a thin layer of glue stick and works well with most common filaments and situations.
- The Bambu High Temperature Plate gives the model that contacts the high-temperature surface a smooth finish and may require some post-processing to clean off the glue stick.
Recommended settings for the Bambu High Temperature Plate
Please note that other slicer settings may need adjustment based on the printed model and filament requirements.
| Bed temperature | Glue stick required? | Top glass cover removed? | |
| PLA/PLA-CF/PLA-GF | 45~60℃ | Recommended | Yes |
| ABS | 90~100℃ | Recommended | No |
| PETG | 80℃ | Yes | Yes |
| TPU | 35℃ | Recommended | Yes |
| ASA | 90~100℃ | Recommended | No |
| PVA | 45~60℃ | Recommended | Yes |
| PC/PC-CF | 100~110℃ | Yes | No |
| PA/PA-CF/PAHT-CF | 100~110℃ | Yes | No |
Pros
- Works best with most 3D printing filaments on the market
- Works well with automatic flow calibration and does not interfere with LIDAR
- Smooth texture on the print surface
- Excellent adhesion and easy print removal
- User-replaceable
Cons
- Cannot be used without heating the build surface
- May be more brittle compared to the Engineering Plate or Textured PEI Plate
- For filaments with a low glass transition temperature, the top glass cover or front glass door needs to be opened
