Alternative hardened Hotend 0.8 mm is a replacement hotend compatible with Bambu Lab H2D, H2S, and P2S printers, designed for high material flows and rapid printing of high-volume parts. Thanks to the optimized melting zone and hardened steel nozzle, it is ideal for abrasive materials (e.g., PLA-CF, PETG-CF, PA-CF) as well as common technical plastics. Higher flow rate allows for a significant reduction in printing time for larger models and infills without significant deterioration of the surface. The hotend design is adapted to the Bambu Lab system – it allows for quick replacement without complex disassembly of the printer.
This part is an alternative to the original Bambu Lab Hotend for H2/P2S with the same 0.8 mm nozzle size.

Installation and Maintenance

  1. Before replacement, always let the hotend cool down to prevent burns.
  2. Follow the recommended procedure for hotend replacement for the Bambu Lab H2/P2S series.
  3. After installation, check:
    • hotend tightness
    • correct seating of the PTFE filament guide
    • Z-offset calibration and potentially flow rate calibration
  4. Regularly check the nozzle for potential clogs, especially when printing filled materials.
